Saturday Market not only provides customers with the freshest produce, cut flowers, baked goods and meats, but also on-site prepared foods, plenty of seating areas to enjoy lunch or a snack, local entertainment and lots of locally made arts and crafts. Saturday Market offers Salem the unique opportunity to bump into friends and acquaintances you've seen within the last week or haven't seen for years!
Salem Saturday Market is located just three blocks North of the Oregon State Capital. Free parking is available in the "Yellow" lot, directly across Marion Street from the Market. The fantastic selection of products at the Market are all grown, made or created by the vendor selling them. Entering its 12th year, Saturday Market is a unique, vibrant Market that customers have come to rely on when looking for high quality, locally produced goods.

All spaces available for reserving have been filled at Saturday Market. If you wish to be placed on the Wait List for a reserved space then send in the reserved space fee with your application. Names will be placed on the Wait List on a first come, first serve basis when completed application and all fees have been received by the Market. Even though all spaces have been reserved we still have plenty of room for other vendors! Not all reserved space vendors use their space every Saturday and the ones not being used by the reserving vendor are filled by vendors without a reserved space. If you are interested in selling at Saturday Market we encourage you to submit your application, etc. and give it a try!

SATURDAY MARKET Jury Meetings for 2009 will be held at the Market's office located at 1320 Waller St SE in Salem. All Jury Meetings run from 6 to 7 pm. Dates for the next few jury meetings are:
July 9 and 23; August 6 and 20.
APPLICATIONS MUST BE APPROVED
BY SSM'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS PRIOR
TO YOUR FIRST DAY OF SELLING!!!
If you are submitting your application by mail, we must receive it at least two weeks prior to your first selling date. Or you may bring your application, fees, sample(s) of your product(s), appropriate licenses and insurance (food vendors only) to a regularly scheduled jury meeting.
